Buying the software
Can I buy Pro Tools 12 (one time payment)....or is the yearly "lease" the only way to get it?

Re: Buying the software
You’ll want to purchase a perpetual license. This will last a year, but the last version that was current when your plan is expired will continue to function indefinitely.
If however you want to receive updates, you’ll need to renew your plan yearly. You’ll have a 6 week grace period. My advice, don’t let it lapse as unfortunately AVID penalises you HARD if you do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Buying the software
Perpetual and Subscription license are available. See the store page and Pro Tools Licensing FAQ for more info.
And to clarify... the grace period following expiration is 30 days.
