Pro Tools and iLok problem.

I recently downloaded Pro Tools 10.3.10 from the Avid website. The download was free. Someone told me that the digidesign audio interfaces weren't needed for Pro Tools to work and any 3rd party audio interface will work with the Pro Tools. He told me the only thing that I would need is an iLok. So I ordered an iLok from Amazon, registered for an account and registered for an Avid master account. Now I made the account after I downloaded the Pro Tools from the Avid website. I'm stuck because the iLok is setup, but I have no idea what I should do to activate the Pro Tools. Mind you, the download wasn't an upgrade nor have I ever owned Pro Tools 10 before. Where do I go to get the license for the iLok so PT10 can work?

Sounds like he neglected to tell you that you need the software license to run it. From that same download page...

Pro Tools 10 isn't sold by Avid any longer, but you might try looking for a used license. Start here.
