No. I think everybody who fills out a case should post here to let us know they also filled out a case. That way we can get an idea of how many people actually are making the effort to file a case.

1. Create an audio track!!

2. Create an instrument track.

3. Put 3 Maxim on the !!!!!AUDIO!!!!! track.

4. Insert BOOM on the instrument track.

5. Create a click track....so you have something to compare with!

6. Record something by playing on BOOM from your keyboard.

6.5....DO NOT QUANTIZE!!

7. Everything you just recorded WILL END UP LATE!!

Please DIGI this is not something a PRO program should do!!

This means that everything you record with audio instruments will be wrong!! And even if it's just a matter of like 10 samples it's still unacceptable!!!

WOW

this could change the whole feel of pop music as we know it.

are our sensibilities no longer modern enough to resonate with the new generation of software geeks?

There´s an update out now!!!
Oh no... Wait.....
That´s how it is supposed to be, not the way it is.
Sorry for the confusion.
I will keep moving my recorded midi-notes back in time.
There´s a word for that now: Avidigize the recordings.

Man am i tired of this s-t.

I tried this and don't find the issues you speak of. Also checked and unchecked the "compensate input/output delays" in i/o setup window thinking this might have some bearing.
Are you sure you did not leave out a step, or maybe I am misreading something. Tried several times and with other VI's. Even with bussing the audio from the Boom track to the audio track, which was not in your test.
However, i have noticed and it has been chronicled here, that the midi is "early" in the track, particularly when ADC is on.

BTW, 10 samples, unless you are doing a phase-null test is not only acceptable, but in fact undetectable by even the most critical ears. Best drumtracks, by the best drummers (or anyone else) in the world are off by much more than that every beat. SB

Wanted to ad.. The technical side of me wants things to be "perfect" in the recording process/software etc, like you do... the musician in me is happy with it sounding good, despite the "issues"...

Never said it wasn't REAL. If you take the time to read my post, you will see that I am trying to replicate the test (and result) that was suggested. I can't get the result mentioned. You really needn't be so defensive, and could probably better spend your time trying the test yourself. And then post back with something constructive. Try something new! SB

Ah.... hardware buffer changes provide much clearer view of this.
I guess my problem is that I read this thread from the back to front. If I had just read the first 2 pages I could have saved myself some time. After those informative first few pages the thread seems to degenerate into DTS bashing... and many comments from the usual guy who has made a DUC career out of commenting on others comments, evidently without exploring the issues at hand. One would hope he would eventually make his plans larger. SB
