Default Cloning systems

Hi

I'm working with 2 HD3 setups both with G5's with slightly different specs.
the main sysytem Is working with PT7 and after the update turmoil its working great.
I'd like to make the 2nd System excactly the same so can i just clone it? Also how does Software
thats protected by hardware specific profiles cope like NI stuff, can you have them installed on 2 machines?

Any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Default Re: Cloning systems

Carbon Copy Colner or Super Duper will clone the systems.

however, system ID's are different. they are a combination of Hardware and Software. even if the OS config and the HW are the same, they will have dif id's.

plus, i think you get license to use these instruments on ONE sytem. if you want a second sytem with them, pay for a second license.

It’s your lucky day… Native Instruments allows for its software to be installed on two separate CPUs. Furthermore, machines can be authorized and de-authorized by the user over the web (although once de-authorized, a specific CPU becomes permanently ineligible).

You would do well to read the documentation that comes with your products.
