Open you Regional Settings window from the Control Panel. On the Regional Options tab click the Customize button. In the new window go to the tab Currency and there you will find the Decimal and Grouping symbol, switch them around...issue solved.

Ahh I see :) thank you!

Will post back with updates..

Edit: No change made Unless it's just this session that is totally buggered? I mean before I discovered that this was becoming a well known issue, I tried loading different plugins which originally forced it to load the Waves plugins again.

I guess it's just a sitting game to see what Waves can announce, for now I'll have to downgrade to Waves 8

Interesting comment... Downgrade to 8. Does this mean 8 is working for you ?

I have had this issue with either version of Waves so the decimal symbol will not be your issue if indeed 8 is working.

Eight was working on my old build, however after completing my move into the new studio I thought it was about time to upgrade to nine.

I'll update once eight is installed with results.

This is exactly what I've had but only occasionally. It happens with some plugs not all. It's so random as well when it happens?

It's really a paint isn't it.. I mean audiosuite from time to time will work (but mostly look distorted).. but then racked plugins on your tracks/aux's etc just don't load.

Here's something new: http://uploadir.com/u/ozkzsjz0.png

Not a clue what is happening now :S

Actually.. this might be a fluke or not. However I have now managed to load my session (including all working plugins) well over five times.

It's only appearing to work though in 48k sessions.. The only other change I made was by clicking on the down arrow to the left of "Auto" - also in line with "Track" and "Preset" right up at the top. I then navigated to "System Preferences" > "Set plug-in Default To" > "User Setting" > close your session & copy of Pro Tools. Reopen Pro Tools and then check your plugins..

It only seems to be working for a small minority of my sessions, however it's a start I suppose.

Anyway I'm calling it a night as it's going on 3am over here. Please do let me know whether or not this breaks.. or at least sort of breaks the barriers of peoples issues.
