Plugins not loading in 7.4.2 on Leopard after upgrade
Just updated from OS Tiger to Leopard today, and also from Pro-Tools 7.3 to 7.4.2, and when I try to open Pro-Tools it freezes during the "loading plugins" step. First on Chorus, so I removed it from the folder, then on Click, then on Cosmonaut Voice.
Any help? Thanks |

You don't need to remove the DigiRack plug-ins that were installed along with the Pro Tools 7.4.2 installation.
You definitely do need to check all optional plug-ins using the list of leopard compatible plug-ins linked from the 7.4.2 download page: www.digidesign.com/leoplugs and the list from the plug-in grid: www.digidesign.com/plugingrid If updating your existing plug-ins does not solve the problem, you may need to remove everything from your plug-ins folder, reinstall Pro Tools 7.4.2, and then each leopard compatible optional plug-in separately.
