"zoom meeting" video lag in PT
In these Covid days, I find myself working in Pro Tools with videos captured by "Zoom meeting". The default format is an mp4 with 25 fps and 32kHz audio.
The audio and video are in sync when the videos are played raw, straight out of zoom. However, when these files are imported into Pro Tools for editing, there is a ~200 ms video lag. Easy enough to correct, but what is the cause? Thanks Ed |

Re: "zoom meeting" video lag in PT
Probably how it gets exported out of zoom has something to do with it.
Is your video playback in sync otherwise? Keep in mind, mp4s will have a different offset than ProRes or DnxHD files. |
