Digi confusing an already confusing issue..
In Pro-Tools 8, when I bounce to disk and set the sample rate to 48048, it says that I'm selecting 0.1% DOWN (FILM to NTSC)... shouldn't this say "UP"
but when I export the same region and select 48048, it says that I'm selecting 0.1% UP (NTSC TO FILM)...shouldn't this say "(FILM to NTSC)" |

It's like this in 7.4 also.

Re: Digi confusing an already confusing issue..
This has always confused me as well. I have reported this anomaly to Digi some time back. It is the same in Film to PAL and PAL to film. I deal with it so rarely that it has not been on my radar for some time.
