Default Tascam FW-1884 with ProTools?

Does anyone run the Tascam 1884 with Protools. If so how do you like it? I just bought the unit and seems like it works fine except that the master fader does not correspond to the master fader in Protools. Can someone assist me in unsing this piece with ProTools?

I did not buy the Command 8 because this units ability to work with Cubase SX and the fact that it is a stand alone board.

Any suggestions, advice, recommendations, or comments will help me greatly.

Thanks.
