Been using Strike since the beginning.
Upgraded everything to v2 (iLok) a few moths back, and thought I'd upgrade to the latest now.

I guess I'll skip that for now ...

I had got this 2 years ago, same price seems to be the same thing? Structure , Strike etc. are still 2.0.7, not 3.0??? (As mentioned earlier here). So is there anything here that has been upgraded, or is it what I got in 2015?
Also, been using Strike more lately, not able to change to a different drum or cymbal in a kit. In checking the folders (Kits, Styles, Mixes, Settings, etc.) they are all empty?? Should these have the instruments I need, or are the 'Big files' all I need??

Strike is the same as what you got in 2015.

See attached images – drag & drop a kit component from the Browser or import your own kit component sample.

Copy your Presets Folder from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\AIR Music Technology\Strike
Paste it in:
C:\Users\User Name\Documents\Pro Tools\Plug-In Settings
then change its name from Presets to Strike

Restart computer

Then, on your Samples drive, within the Folder called Strike -
(Samples:\AIR Music Technology\AIR Content\Strike)
you should see all 15 Strike BIG Files, as well as 5 Folders:
Kits, Mixes, Recorded Audio, Settings, Styles
These 5 Folders should now contain all your User Presets (automatically sorted where you saved them)

Thank you so much unkJE, All I have in the Strike folder, (program86\airmusic\) is the user guide, v1.2. I think with 3 or 4 upgrades through the years, I've got a mess! I had three different air music tech folders on my (F) drive, deleted two of the older ones without the 'big' files. And so now I have the 5 folders (empty), the 15 big files, a Strike, Strike 2.0.7 setup, and Strike factory content files...?? Although I think this folder is correct, I'm still missing something!?? Can I ,, (should I),, reinstall, leaving the big files in place, or maybe delete and uninstall everything Strike, and start from scratch?? Thanks again,, would really love to get this working correctly, been needing it a lot more lately. Mike

OK,, so the drag and drop (individual drum) works fine, THANKS! Still not sure what to do about the 5 empty folders? Is there somewhere else I might find that 'presets' folder?

And so here's a real (probably) dumb question,,, but would these files be empty because I've not saved anything in the way of Strike kit changes yet, (or styles, mixes etc.) Or are there files that come with Strike that should already be there?? Actually, since clicking on the little folders across the top of the kit gui in strike still comes up with nada,,, I'm guessing that was a dumb question!

Sorry for not being more precise!

You nailed it - these are not Factory Presets - they are all User Presets - hence your empty Folders at this stage.

If your Manual has a pic on the front cover with the RECORD EXPORT box (AUDIO/MIDI) in the bottom RH corner, that's the Strike 2 Manual.

Good to see you can drag and drop replacement kit components - the Import Samples function is a definite bonus, too.

Thanks, so the small folders across the top of the kit gui are only to use for changes made in the past and saved to the 'kit' folder? It would be nice if say in one of the tom tracks, I could try 8 or 10 toms to use in that track. Or snares in track #2 etc. And thanks for the manual! Much appreciated. Mike
