Default 12.5 bug report AAE error -9171

Hi,
I meet the problems,I list them below,need avid Support team,thanks!

1st issue shown as the screenshot,AAE-9171.

I did not insert more plugins,cpu Occupancy rate is normal,if I did recording,this status also happened,there were 2-3 time in one afternoon.Even I set the buffer to 512 or 1024,but still happened like that.

2nd another bigger issue,if I adjusted Clip,Gain,even dragged the clip audio block,adjust the automation line when I replayed the Session ,pt would be crashed down!

The fastest and best way to get your problems resolved would be to open a Support Case with Avid.

You can do a search of the forums for the 9171 error since others have been getting this too, but there really doesn't seem to be a one size fits all solution for the problem. This is why I suggest opening a support case so Avid can gather information from your system and help find the root cause.

I have the same error and I wrote to support in December 2015, dozen of emails and dlogs files... still I´m waiting a solution.

For now the best solution is select "Ignore Errors During Playback/Record" in playback engine.

Avid is currently working to resolve 917x errors. Meanwhile going back to 12.4 has helped many.

Just installed a new system and we're getting this error very frequently.

Specs:
HDX with 16x16 analog and sync HD, Pro Tools HD 12.5.2
Windows 10 anniversary
i7 6850k, 32 GB Ram, asus rampage v extreme 3.1, m2 ssd, Blackmagic sdi 4K , Nvidia 1070 founders edition

Anyone with a similar setup that is running ok?

I do not have HDX, but have you done the usual? http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...ve-errors-9071

Even though not specific to 9171 I would do all the AAE 9173 related things like removing Click II from sessions, uninstalling Avid Application Mangler and Avid Cloud Collaboration Crap. And/or rolling back to 12.4 that Tom and many others are using. All well discussed on DUC.

Hi Tom and all who are plagued by the 9171. I just updated the S6 to 3.5 and needed PT 12.6 for some of the console functionality. Would 12.4 be a good option for me?

I get the 9171 almost every day only for the first few minutes of my first session...regardless of plugs. Then it's solid for the rest of the day. Except for yesterday, when I had a crash during a record. Trouble shooting today. I did change the Thunderbolt bus on the Mac Pro, feeding the Sonnets server.
