Default XP + bootcamp on a MacPro with Leopard

We are having issues with audio playback in both Pro tool LE 7.4cs3 and Vegas7.0e running XP via bootcamp on a MacPro with Leopard....buffer messages and stutter.

Tried the famed "hotfix" and it did nothing.

any tips?

Hmmm interesting I had exactly the same issues with the 002R in XP (Boot-Camp) I gave up in the end, funny thing was I expected it too work, and it did n't but my old M-Box 2 worked that I did not think it would, I'm just wondering if 10.5.3 will sort out this issue, it was not happening on 10.5 or 10.5.1, only since 10.5.2.

oh crap. I went to 10.5.2 the day i got my macbook. wonder if that is the problem. is there any way to go back?
i must say this, and i hope digidesign sees it-

It amazes me that people are having these problems. The biggest name, the industry standard of recording audio wont work with new macs. and if it does, it errors every 10 minutes. how long has leopard been out now? its funny how they sell macbooks with leopard and pro tools on the opposite page in sweetwater and musicians friend catalogs, but don't bother to mention that you cant even run pro tools on the macs. i bought a digi rack, just dropped the coin on a new laptop, and now i am screwed. i have clients waiting, and all i can tell them is "digidesign hasnt come up with an update yet". If its not one error its another. and after all the money ive spent, pro tools is going to want some more in 2012 when the leopard update comes out. i have been a pro tools user/fan for 10 years, and i am sad to say, very sad to say, that logic is looking pretty good right now. this is unacceptable. i have made two postings on this forum of my errors, and no one from digidesign has replied. maybe someday. so frustrating!!!!!

Just the fact that we had to resort to Windows XP...I got as far as the Air Port connection... it will see my base but no place to enter handshake (believe me I've been to the Control Panel pages and tried to set up a wireless network, HEX bs, etc... hours of internet searching with no direct solution). PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ADVISE DIGI.
My ENTIRE LIVELIHOOD has been SEVERELY hampered by this unlikely MIS-MANAGED string of events... (and to the flamers... I welcome you all to NYC where I earn my lowly pittance on HD (I will explain if you care) and we will see how far I am inside the PT environment)... I feel your pain... SHAME ON YOU DIGI_APPLE... How dare anyone have to struggle with a foreign OS in order to put a temporary fix on your inherent problems.
