ilok auth not working
hi.
had my PT HD 7.1 mistakenly unistalled. when i re-installed it, my BF pultec eqp-1a plug in would not authorize. all my other plug ins did and work fine. when i hit the 'authorize' tab on the window that pops up during launch, the next window says it can't find the auth, and gives the # of the ilok it's looking on. the problem is the auth is on another ilok, which has other plug in auth's on it which work fine. i went to ilok and switched the auth to the ilok it says it was looking at, but i get the same response, that it can't find the auth. any ideas? thanks... |

why not plug both iLoks in (just on the off chance that the license
transfer didn't take .. and sometimes they don't)? then launch PT. jeff |

they are always both plugged in. i have auth's for other plug ins on each one. weird that only this one didn't take...

i thought of that, so i installed a couple versions of the pultec. none seemed to work. actually, one version came up with a full trial period, and the other came up with just the auth window, saying the trial period was over. i tried to auth each one but they didn't recognise the auth on the ilok, and for some reason only saw one of the iloks. i have 2 plugged in all the time.
is there a way to find out what version auth i have on my ilok? i can't seem to get any detailed info about the auth's at ilok.com? and, i emialed digidesign, and they have not responded at all yet... it's getting hairy now since i have some work to do on previous mixes, where i used the pultecs a bit. i don't really want to be forced to repurchase and auth... thanks... |

you were right. i had auth's for 3.0 . they are on 4.0 now. digi contacted me and sent me the new auth's for my ilok.
