Default Yikes!! Ambience gone!!!

I upgraded to PT 9.0.6 the other day against my own better judgement as........whatever I had....9.0......9.01 or whatever, was working just fine with OS 10.6.4. I putzed around with it but did not notice anything that jumped out at me......I figured it was sort of a maintenance and fix type upgrade.

Well, I just opened a session for real and went to use Eleven Rack for a guitar part and only just noticed that the speaker ambience slider is completely missing from the speaker at the bottom of the amp interface.

It used to reside to the right of the Bypass/On switch....in between the Digi logo and the Mic Type section.

What gives? Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks.

Do you mean the speaker breakup fader?

Just a guess. You have an Eleven Rack that has the ERXP. When you updated your Pro Tools version, it erased the updated UI files needed to display the ERXP items (speaker breakup was added by the ERXP)

So, if I am correct, you need to re-run the first section of the ERXP, then discard the firmware updater that gets placed on your desktop.

You can find the ERXP installer download from the Sticky in the guitar section or from the Eleven Rack Driver and Software Repository on my blog if you don't already have the installer on your hard drive.
