Help!!!connectivity with soundcraft digital 328 and digi 003

Hello,

i'm about to buy a soundcraft digital 328 mixer ( wich i can buy for really good money) wich was totally automatable in Pro tools several years ago.
would this stil be the case with a digi 003?

Also another problem: the 328 has 16 channels of adat that i can use the same time to record audio, is there any way that i can get these into Protools? whitout having to buy a HD system.
I was thinking that i could get 8 in protools connecting 1 adat to the digi 003, but is there also a possibility to get the other 8 channels in?

Pretty sure you can get 8 channels via lightpipe into the 003 from that mixer. As for PT control, does the mixer have a HUI emulation mode? If so, it would be worth a try. How much is a good price? Maybe a DigiMaxLT and a Command8 would cost similar?
