Studio Projects VTB-1 Mic Pre

Anybody familiar with this mic pre? I'm going to be getting the Studio Projects C1 soon and saw this mic pre on their web site. I was wondering it wouldn't be a nice match-up for the C1. I haven't been able to find a ny reviews on it.

Actually, it is available at http://www.bpmmusic.com/studioprojects.htm. I just haven't heard anything about it. I contacted Studio Projects and they expressed frustration at there not being any reviews on it already. I was hoping someone that purchased one and could give us a review of it here. It looks like a good product from the information on their web site. It sells fro about the same as the C1, which is a great deal. I was thinking of getting the Joemeek VC1Q, but for the price this would be a lot more economical.

as far as i've heard, no it's not available yet. alan has had a lot of problems getting production together.

the mic pre has been up on bpm music for a LONG time...like since before january i think? If you order it, they'll tell you it's on back order.

doesn't seem to be available yet. kind of annoying since they've had the product on the site for over half a year.

especially annoying because I've got two C1's and love them, and had to consider other pre options. If the VTB-1 is as good a value as the C1, it could be incredible.
