Is 12.8 a joke for non HD users? Shameful....

We all bought into this subscription model "UPDATES CAN BE MORE FREQUENT" and all that other pre sales poop, I have been a PT users since version 7. Updates have become far and few in between then we get this 12.8 update that is basically a patch for non HD users?
Avid your subscription model is quickly running out of steam and I can see companies like Steinberg will be again offering cross-grades to Cubase...

SHAMEFUL, call back your executives to the meeting room and start drawing out a plan, QUICKLY...

Consolation for what ?? Vanilla users have got ALOT of features for a measly $99 a year so I am Not understanding what you are on about

It is EXTREMELY tiresome to read all the members who just compalain whatever you get. Nothing is enough and it is super lame and pointless to keep that attitude up. Go make music with that DAW you pay for every year and when features come they come.

Its just a bunch of complainers who want everything free and entitled to whatever you *feel* you want blaming Avid techs ... why not just feel good that you got loads of great features this past year. Whatever they came from (HD) and also you pay $99 a year. If you honestly feel that is too much for you and what you get then .. you know .. other DAW's are there for the taking.

I do promise many will be back pretty fast as no DAW maker out there are 100%

Have you read the readme with all the fixes and midi stuff ?? We have all gotten lots of fixes and clean-up in 12.8!

The people who are somewhat "entitled to be pissed" are HD users who pay $399 in the US and over 600 USD converted from SEK sweden and other rates and conversions. We have not got much the past years so saying vanilla users should get a $500 free heat license .. well I am Laughing Out Loud Today buddy!

Mr Admin, you are glossing over the BUSINESS MODEL, we were promised new features and frequently, I am a patient man, very in fact, have u ever seen a post in this forum by myself like this one? No....this is the first time I felt the need to vent, I have every right to do so, I am a customer, u work for AVID so please respect me as a customer.
If I buy into a business model I expect a return for my investment, we have waited ages for this 12.8 mini me patch and we got a load of flaff. As a paying customer I have every right to express my dissatisfaction and by being pushed aside and being told well if u dont like it there are other DAW's I have to ask you who do you think you are? Have u now grown a head that is so large u no longer regard non HD users as customers and our opinions therefore are not valid?

Blue Badges like mine and southsidemusic, do not work for Avid. We are paying customers like you who donate our times to help people like you. The number 1 request for a long time now from the vast majority of the customers have been fix the damn bugs.. Well now that Avid has been getting heads over heels on that, you complain?

First off I dont work for Avid whatsoever. I am a volunteer and have my own views so cool it with the Mods work for Avid.

I agree that Avid isn't perfect and that there are lots that can be improved but you throw around terms like Duped and shameful etc.

No matter what you get you will complain you didn't get some more ..

You are free to rant and so am I. Just think about what you got in features the past year and tell me it wasn't worth $99!

OMG I feel like I am banging my head on a wall "NO MATTER WHAT U GET U WILL COMPLAIN"? erm... I been with Pro Tools since version 7, I have bought into all versions as they became available, this is the FIRST TIME I have ever complained.
And lets talk about HD users, yes you are also been taken for a ride, I agree with totally, but that does not lessen my complaint in any way shape or form....
