Compatibility Question
My computer is Intel i5 3200 8Gig Ram Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and lots of HDD space.
Question is I am running Pro Tools First so is it safe to say if I can run that it should run the full version? Also is it necessary to install Pro Tools to the C drive or can I use a different one. Thanks |

Re: Compatibility Question
Run? Probably. How well? Tough to say. The full version has a lot more going on that can chew up a lot more horsepower(its sort of up to you to find out how this translates) and traditionally, i5 cpu's are a borderline processor on PC(they fare a bit better on Macs). If you are finding PT First lacking, then by all means, make the move(assuming you really like PT). Other DAW programs often seem to do better on lesser computers, so if you are not sold on Pro Tools, there are several other options you might consider
