Re: PT11HD on 2011 MacBook Pro
Hi all,
so update is, software works really well. Hardware works well also only not together. Using the Madiface and PT11HD or 10HD, I can't get above 32 inputs. Is this due to the fact that I do not have any HD hardware connected? Anyone else have these issues? PT is acting like it is non HD. I have checked the iLok and the license is correct. The software is defiantly HD as is the license. Thanks |

I can be wrong, but I don't believe pro tools allows you to go over 32 ins and outs with 3rd party hardware.

Re: PT11HD on 2011 MacBook Pro
I wanted to ask you...how it's going with your setup. I have a 2011 MacBook pro and I want to use an HDx card myself.

PT11HD on 2011 MacBook Pro
Quote:
You are not wrong. PT takes first 32 i/o even if you had a million. Can't choose i/o number from within PT software. HDN gives you 64 and HDX is "unlimited" to whatever Avid marketing decides is the max number
