Change Tempo Pro-Tools 8
Hi
I want to draw in tempo changes with the pencil tool into the tempo bar. But when I do, the midi regions move along the time line so that they continue to play at the original speed. How do i get the regions to stay where they are so when I draw in tempo changes the midi regions either speed up or slow down? Thanks!! |

Re: Change Tempo Pro-Tools 8
Well the first question would have to be - are your midi tracks set to tick based rather that sample based?
If you go to the edit window and make the track medium height you will see either a green triangle (this looks like a metronome and means tick based) or a blue dot (meaning sample based). Your track needs to be tick based to respond to tempo changes. John |
