Default Vengeance Sound Tapestop & Glitch Bitch

This is for anyone who buys these great plugins and cannot figure out how to automate them in Pro Tools 11 or 12. I had a hell of a time getting help. Maybe this will help the next guy.

Use the AAX installer. After installation, load Pro Tools. Load an instance of the plugin on an audio track. Click the automation button on the plugin. For Tapestop, select SEQ ON/OFF (for Glitch Bitch, select Freeze), click add and okay. Pull down the list where volume, pan, etc are. You will see the plugin there. Select it. You can now automate using the pencil breakpoints.

For anyone unfamiliar with these plugins who likes tapestop and glitch effects, go to http://www.vengeance-sound.com. Their tapestop is on major steroids compared to the one in Pro Tools and Glitch Bitch is especially great for any EDM, hip hop, or electronica but all in all you can make it work where ever you hear it.

Thanks for wanting to be helpful. This is, just an FYI though, the way that any plugin is automated on a given track. You have discovered the basic method that applies to all plugins.

No. I have been automating native plugins since 2006. These two presented special issues, one of which the author of the software didn't even know.

What you stated in your post is no different than the method that is used for any plugin. What is it that you say is different?
