MIDI dropouts in PT 9 HD / MOTU Micro Express
Hi,
I am just migrating over to PT9 HD2 on a Mac Pro 2.66 Quad Core / 12 GB Ram, running Mountain Lion. I had been running a G4 / 933 with a MIX system. My interface is an older MOTU Micro Express. It worked great on the old G4 / MIX rig. I have only just started using MIDI on the new rig today. My only external device is a Roland XV-5080. I had a very basic drum loop running, kik and 2 hi hat tracks. But I keep getting MIDI dropouts! The kik pauses every once in a while, every minute or so. Then picks right back up. It's super annoying, and doesn't make any sense to me because it ran great on my older, much slower system. Any advice or troubleshooting tips would be appreciated! Thanks - Steve |
