Just trying to improove,Am doing 130 minutes and more session long ,no problem.my system usage changes whith External HD sata by esata port
PCI 0 %
CPU RTAS 3%
CPU ELASTIC 0%
DISK 49%
when i used the external sata HD by USB port was
PCI 0 %
CPU RTAS 3%
CPU ELASTIC 0%
DISK 10% do you explain that difference, esata port is supposed to be faster than USB

The BIG problem for MOST users was that IE8 was keeping PT (and many other programs as well) from even launching. That's why un-install it.....it doesn't run fine for EVERYBODY.

Exactly, & as many threads as there are & have been of IE8 causing problems & too Digi saying that if will hose things up, why would u say it runs fine? & Don't say it runs fine for u because ur 1 out of all the rest... & if that is the case(as we know) say it works for u or better yet, I wouldn't even say that because then u have people wasting time tryna make it work...

If the uninstall in Add/Remove programs doesn't work:

Start --> Run --> %WINDIR%\ie8\spuninst\spuninst.exe

We had to use this method at our workplace when Add/Remove didn't work.

OK but IE8 is where/when people get problems; iloks & Digi stuff have been running for most every1 who post saying PT won't launch or whatever else it causes & when IE8 gets installed, then PT crumbles; so how would u say its not IE8 thatz causing the prob?
