Default Easy Question: Wavedrivers and Mbox
Excuse my ignorance, but I'm a Mac guy...

Say I've got an Mbox and also Soundforge. I know I need the wavedriver to use the Mbox with Soundforge.

But here's my question: is it possible (I'm just not sure) to have the Mbox be the default input with Soundforge, so I don't have to do any setup (in terms of selecting i/o or whatever) everytime I open it?

Check if SF. is ASIO compatible ( I'm guessing it is ) Then install ASIO driver for your version of PT LE.
>WaveDriver does only play back !!...so no, can not select it as input device.

So there's no way to use the Mbox to get audio into a Windows machine outside of ProTools?

ASIO apps can use the ASIO driver to access Digi hardware, for record and playback.
