Default Dynamic transport and automation

I had a fiddle with Dynamic transport and automation. One thing that is strange is that PT (7.4) can’t write automation in stop to a selection if the Play start marker is before the selection. In the selection or after works fine.

Thoughts?

Don't you think this totally destroys the feature? Say that you want to listen through the chorus + 2 bars of the second verse. Fine, you make a selection around the chorus, and set the Play start marker 2 bars before. Latch auto in Preview -> find the settings you want -> hit stop -> Write to all.

Doesn't work...

I think the strength of Dynamic transport is that you can move the Play start marker wherever you like while keeping the selection.
