Re: Who's your Favorite Recording Engineer/ Producer?
I have alot of favs..but my top 5....
Sly & Robbie (outside of reggae - Grace Jones, Rolling Stones, Bill Laswell, Sinead O'Conner and every other recording act on the planet) Steven Stanley (Tom Tom Club, Black Uhuru, Grace Jones - hands down THE best engineer (and excellent producer) in the Caribbean (and one of the best in the world) - the only engineer I will gladly pay to mix my material. Bill Laswell - from jazz to dub....amazing Prince - People still don't know the level of talent this man has a musician and producer. Marvin Gaye - the sounds this man had in his head.... - KB |
