Make all active tracks inactive when launching session

Hey all,

Would there be a key combo, that by being pressed whist opening a session, would force all tracks to become inactive?

I need to go into hundreds of big sessions (too long a story to explain why) and it’d be fantastic if I could minimise loading time.

I am not aware of a way to do that, but holding SHIFT while opening any session will make all plugins inactive, which might cut time considerably. Another option: drag all your plugins out of the Plugins folder and into any temp folder. As each session opens, you will get the usual message about missing plugins used in the session, but just click NO to skip the detailed report.

One last idea if you don't need to hear anything....rename the audio files folder by putting xxx in front(IOW xxxAudio Files) and be sure to skip the relink option window. After you're done, just delete the xxx and things should go right back to normal function
