Just to be clear, that means NI plugins were never installed? On this system? Or you removed all the NI plugins from the plugin folders (AAX and RTAS folders if you had both installed?) or NI plugins were just not instantiated in the session?

The other question for people who are finding problems do occur when NI plugins are installed is exactly what NI plugins cause this? Can it be isolated to a specific bundle or plugin?

I noticed that my problems disappeared upon moving NI aax32 plugins into the unused folder. Try doing this with all NI plugins, and tell me if you're still getting the screen freezes. Try uninstalling them altogether as well and see if that helps.

That sounds like a hardware issue.

Try updating your BIOS. They're up to 1403.
Worth a shot.

So far, so good with this. I'm just using the NI RTAS plugins with PT10 and had a full day of crash-free mixing yesterday. Hopefully this is the solution.

For me I am sure it is not NI.. I reinstalled my OS before, and just had installed PT and necessary drivers installed, no NI plugins. and it crashed!

Same problem as what? This is one of those DUC threads where "same problem" has no clear meaning. You mean same symptoms? What exact ones?

If its for a hung computer problem is it really hung? What does CTRL-ALT-DEL Do? If you do that and wait a long time? Even for a hard hung or seemingly hung system you don't know whether any problems are really related until there is some technical clarity here, like seeing that stack traces look simmilar for (forced) system crash reports etc.

Is there anything interesting looking in the Windows Event Log? Posting a Sandra report might help folks spot configuration/spec issues. As would thigns like MBox driver versions... does this happen with other interfaces? Try the PC Audio/ASIO4ALL if you don't have another interface to try.

If nothing else works. Grab a spare or new disk drive, do a full clean windows install, boot off the new drive, install as few drivers as needed (e.g. latest graphics only and audio interface). Do a new Pro Tools install and install no third party plugins and check if things work. if so make a backup. Then add anything else you need one at a time and testing after each install or few.

I have the exact same crash reports and same symptoms as the original post. I'm mainly trying to find out if Pettah93 has concluded anything.

I've just tried running the audio through ASIO4ALL and it crashed the same way.
I've tried Ctrl+Alt+Del and let it hang there for 10mins as well.

I started my own Thread a day or two ago with plentiful detail, please can you read this? This has details to my computer and situation, it's very similar to this situation and it answers all your questions.
http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=352804

I can copy and paste these detail here if you would prefer?

Thank you for your help
