Default What Version Was "Crossfade REX Files" Preference Introduced?

I'm still on PT 7.1. Long story, but, in a nutshell, my PPC system is solid and I can't afford new cards, etc. to get up to 8.x.

Anyway, I've recently gotten a loop library that's in REX2 format and when I drag the files into the session from the workspace browser, I'm glitching with pops and clicks. Anyone know if I can make them work with my system, or what version the crossfade preference was introduced?
Thanks for your help...

You don't need new cards to upgrade to 8...

You would only need to upgrade to Leopard.

Alternatively you can upgrade to 7.4 on the Digistore, that'd work on Tiger.

Not sure on the crossfade addition.

Thanks Pez... Part of the "long story" I left out was my WUP charges on my Waves plugs. There's more to the long story, but I don't want to bore everyone.
Again, thanks so much for your input.
Best regards...

WUP has been modified and it shouldn't cost any more than $200 to get current, plus you'll probably be eligible for several "new" plugs.

Thanks!!

That price does depend on how many "bundles" you have so be sure check with Waves. I'd call them, they have good phone support.
