QT using dvmc & free drivers to TV set

i know it's been explained before but i can't find it anywhere. so here goes

okay
i have a sony DVMC-DA2 and i want to output QT video to my tv monitor via the sony box from inside of a pro tools session

what do i need & how do i do it?
as much detail as possible please

Skeez, there is a software program called Echo Fire which is supposed to do what you are looking to do. Go to echofire.com to see it. I haven't tried it yet, but I have heard that it works great.

There are drivers you need to download from Adaptec. They're called Hotconnect and they're free. Can't remember exactly where to find them though.

so i got the drivers, i think. hot connect ultra 2.5

i installed them and i'm not sure what to do next??????

how do i tell the mac to send video thru them?? i'm at a loss as to how to make them work
