Default How to convert OptionAV .OMF Video to QT? (and Vice-Versa?)

Is there a solution to convert an OptionAV captured .omf (?!) videofile to a Quictime movie, and is there a way to convert a Quicktime moviefile to an OptionAV compattible .omf video-file?.

Another question: why do these OptionAV videofiles have an .omf extension?

Anny input is apreciated,

Huby
