No sound through built-in computer speakers
I recently installed Pro Tools on my Macbook OSX 10.5.6 and installed Pro Tools v. 7.4.2. I have finally managed to get everything running but there is no sound when playing my sessions. I have an Mbox 2 Factory. Would anyone know what I need to do to troubleshoot this? I have changed the ouputs to 1-2 on the tracks and still nothing.

Re: No sound through built-in computer speakers
PT audio outputs via the Mbox. Use either the Headphones out or monitor outputs to powered speakers (or amp+passive speakers). You cannot route PT audio via internal speakers or third party interfaces.

Re: No sound through built-in computer speakers
gotchya, I feel stupid. I was hoping i could test things out by just listening through my computer speakers before getting monitors.
Thanks very much |
