Default Access denied when consolidating tracks

I don't get it. This didn't happen on the last few sessions I did but for some reason on this paticular project, I can't seem to consolidate the edited tracks. I have the disk space, so what gives? Any ideas? It starts to do it and then I get an error message with a red "X" that says "access is denied"

Are you sure your audio files are not write protected? If you've transferred them to a CD and then back onto the computer this would be the case.

Otherwise can't think of anything else.

I think they may be write protected. Is there anything I can do to disable that?

To disable "Write Protection" for all data being used in the session:
-Go to the file folder (or highlight the drive) that contains all of your audio data
-Select all files in it (i.e. simply drag the mouse box around all of the files)
-Right+click->properties->disable “read only”
