Yamaha MYAE96 or MY16-AE AES-3 to connect 192IO Digital and future HD IO D

Hi,

I have an Yamaha 02r96 V2 here.
At the moment I have 2 MY16AT cards providing me an IO of 32 using just 2 slots.

My Daw is a PT HD2 Accel connected to a 192 IO Digital + legacy 24 Bit Adat Bridge.

I want to work at 96 kHz. So my doubt is:

Which of the cards will let me properly and better work at 88.2k/96K:
MY8AE 96 or the MY16AE.
Seems the MY16AE will do 8 IO at HD sample rates and still permit me 16IO at 44.1k/48kHz.

Also, which Digital DB25/DB25 cable is the appropriate model to connect the 192 IODigital or a future HDIO and the Yamaha digital AES card?

I was reading that for some cases one must use an adapter. Yamaha pin configurations seems to be different from the scheme that Avid uses.

They can custom build you cable that has DB25 on both ends but have each connector wired the way you like. Just say connector A connects to device X and connector B connecst to device Y and they will create you a perfect cable for the job.

If you don't want to mess with custom stuff, last week I saw some place that stocks them in various lengths, but I don't know which vendor it was...
