m-powered vs ableton
I bought a fast track pro from guitar center. I have had it a few years, using ableton live lite. I just realized that it has a demo disc for pro-tools m-powered 7, also. I downloaded but cannot use it, I have no iloc key. There wasn't one in the box. (Should it have included an ilock? It was the last one they had, and the box had been opened). Now that I have a little experience I would like to upgrade to a full version, but I think m-powered may suit me better than ableton. My questions are 3. Can I get the m-powered demo to work? Can I buy the m-powered upgrade having never registered the demo (got to run it to register) ? And, are their any opinions about the 2 , ableton vs m-powered. I play an acoustic guitar and sing, and want something easy to use with the ability to produce good acoustic sound. Dont need the building block, clip capabilities of ableton.
