Default Blinking random speed 1394 led

Hi,

I'm testing my laptop for a remote tracking session....it's a Pentium M 2 Gh with 1 Gb mem.
Clean XP Prof install and LE 7.3....as soon as PT LE start, the 1394 led on the front
of my 002R is blinking in random pattern.
LE starts but can't use any input/outputs on my 002....what's wrong?

Why is PT LE so crappy with some hardware...

Jeroen

Hello Jeroen,

In order to help you better, it is highly recommended that you start with the steps in the "Win XP/ Pro Tools 6.x/7.x General Troubleshooting" thread and post specific info on your system per the info on that thread if you're unable to resolve the problem.

With that info (the SANDRA report) there's a greater chance that we can help you.

Tom

BIG SMILE!!!!

I've ordered 2 days ago a OWC Neptune FireWire drive, and now my 002R is working!!!!

the chain is:

Laptop -> Firewiredrive -> 002R

So could it be a powerharness problem after al? or???

I'm a happy bunny
