Default Consildating Tracks and Fades / Edits

Hi

I have a ton of edits and fades, crossfades, etc on a number of tracks in a big mix. If I consolidate a track, how are all the fades and edits processed?

If I missed a crossfade and hear a click on the edit point in the consolidated track, is there any way to fix that if I only have the consolidated track left?

Cheers in advance

Well sure, you can take the click out and add a new crossfade.

I think he means after consolidation, he finds a click(too late for the usual cross-fade). Fix it by zooming way in and use the pencil tool to draw a smooth line over the click.

I will usually make either a duplicate track or a duplicate playlist before consolidating, that way I can go back to my original edits if I need to correct anything.

+1 duplicate playlist with and appropriate title like... <track name> edit - or some other genius thing I come up with at the time
