Avid Artist Control not working with 2018 MBP

Hello,
I am having trouble connecting my Avid Artist Control to my MBP
EuControl 18.3.0.244 will not see it at all yet Audio Midi Setup and Pro Tools recognise the device as being connected.

I have tried both static and automatic IP addresses.
Tested with Wi-Fi enabled and disabled.
Firewall disabled and enabled with connections allowed.
Energy saver disabled.

I have also tried different EuControl Software Package Versions and installers from v2.7.1 up to version v3.1.
EuControl v3.1 is the highest version that will recognise the Artist Control but Pro Tools Ultimate requires a minimum of v3.2.
The device currently has firmware version 1.3.5 which was installed from a previous system that when to apple heaven before I switched to the MacBook.

The Artist Control is connected to my Mac via the Ethernet port on my Sonnet Echo. I have tried different Ethernet cables, with the exact same results.

If anyone has any advice on how I can finally resolve this I would really appreciate it.

For anyone having this issue it looks like I have finally solved it.

In System Preferences > Advanced > TCP/IP

Configure IPv6 I selected: Link-local only
