Question getting out of manual tempo mode

Hi, Can anyone tell me how I can get out of manual tempo mode? I am use to just adding in the numerical bpm, now I have to open the tempo an slide in the tempo amount . Before i was able to just click on tempo and the dialogue box would open and I would just enter in the numerical value. Short cut keys would really help. I'm using pt le 7.4. Any help would be of great help.

Under event > tempo operations you have your tempo window to type it in. For a exact time frame, hilight the length, open your tempo window and select "preserve tempo after selection"
