2001 Era Pro Tools Session w/Kind Of Loud surround plugin

Has anyone used PT v10 or v11 to open a 2001 era Pro Tools session that used Kind Of Loud's solution for mixing in surround?

What was that like? Hell?

I have an client crisis in the themed entertainment world. I'm producing now instead of mixing and no longer have a mix room, kinda want to know what I might be getting into if I take a session that old and crack it open while on the clock at a facility.

Yikes. Those were TDM plugins so 11 is out. Also they were for PPC machines - maybe even OS9.... so chances of running the plugins are low unless you find someone with a working machine of such vintage with the plugins authorized.

I'd plan on remixing.

I should note this is all from memory and I never used those plugins but I do remember them. I think what I said is accurate...

To be clear, I don't expect to be able to use the Kind Of Loud plugin.

I'm just wondering about the panning data. I can't even remember how that plugin worked and where the panning data lived and whether it was viewable/editable. I don't recall a lot of dynamic panning in the show, but there was probably some.

Ugh.
