Digitest not showing anything

HI
First post here
I have a PT10HD system - reinstalling on a computer that it once ran on (8 core - will be able to get model later today)
96 i/o connected correctly
HD core & access cards - reseated, cable checked
Cards show up in About System
Digitest shows nothing - no window comes up
Software shows no hardware

I am not with system right now - just wanted to throw a post in case there was a well known solution

thanks for any assistance!
