That's what the faders are for. You have to balance/pan the whole thing correctly to get a good mix anyway, and part of that might be cutting the volume on the verse tracks. Don't use plugins to fix what should be accomplished with the basic mix.. (not a rule, just a guideline)
Thank you very much for your easy answer. I shall have to practice with the fading of the volume on tracks. I haven't really tried doing it yet cuz I always get nervous that the volume will be too low when I fade, so then it will sound bad or un normal, but I guess it's just like everything, practice makes perfect.

Changing the level of a fader only effects the volume of the track. It either makes it louder or softer. It does not effect any other aspect of that tracks sound. Adjusting individule fader volumes and panning them to your liking is the first basic step of setting up the begining of a mix. Go for it. Have fun.
