possible to revert from OSX 10.3.5 to 10.3.4?
I just saw the Digidesign warning about OSX 10.3.5 and firewire issues.
I have already (foolishly it seems) done the Mac OS update to 10.3.5 and I have since experienced some Firewire drive issues. In my case it wasn't a Pro Tools specific problem but a basic system issue... certain firewire drives consistently un-mounted themselves for no apparent reason. I was left with the Mac OS error message about dissconnecing firewire drives withpout first properly unmounting them. Is this what Digidesign refers to in their warning about 10.3.5? What is the best way to restore my system to 10.3.4? Can I just run the 10.3.4 updater over the 10.3.5 system? Or do I have to do a fresh install? Any thoughts swould be greatly appreciated! maxx [email protected] |
