Hmmm think i'm gonna skip the phantom power thing then and use a power adaptor.
So it's possible to use the Midi Moose with the 11R right?
What midi cable do i need to connect it with the 11R?

I still have 2 questions about the Midi Moose:
*will it work with the 11Rack?
* if i buy a Rocktron 5-pin to 7-pin midi cable will i be able to phantom power with the 11 Rack?

Anyone got a clue?

The MIDI Moose will run on a battery, so there's a tidy alternative: No extra cables or plugs involved.

I would imagine the battery would last quite a while too, especially seeing as it has a power save function. I don't have one by the way.

Hi,

I use the Tech 21 MIDI Mouse (up/down + active buttons), it works well.

The battery is still good after many months of almost daily use.

No.

The 5 pin end has a plug to plug in a 9v power source, like the optional one you use for the midi moose, without batteries. I power my midimate with the 5-7 pin cable, because I have a power strip next to my eleven rack. Plug the wall wart into the strip, wall wart into the pigtail on the 5-7 pin midi cable.
