iLok 1st Generation - Unable to download Pro Tools 11 Bundle License

How can I revert the surrender of a license and return the product? I've looked on the iLok website, but there's no information.

Sit back, think about it.
You need an iLok 2 for pretty much anything from here on out.
If you buy any new plugins down the road, guess what? They generally require iLok 2.
ILok 1's are pretty much over, like firewire 400.

Just buy the iLok2, that is well worth it and many new plugins also require iLok2 so eventually you would need to buy it anyway -- whether PT10 or PT11.

You can't revert the surrender and/or return the product. Just buy the iLok2 and be done with it. Eventually you're going to need one so might as well buy it now. It's the only thing keeping you from getting on with using PT10 and this wonderful world of music recording.

Of course if you had done your homework you would have known all this ahead of time and wouldn't be here crying woe is me

I was in panic mode. And yes, I wasn't thinking and ended up throwing a lot of money at a convenient purchase. There's no need to be condescending, musicman691, but I appreciate your help.

Also, Avid sent me an email offering me an emergency license so I could get my project sorted.

Wasn't being condescending at all just telling the straight truth - that's what I do and I never play politically correct. So many people come on here and blame Avid or iLok for problems that haven't done their homework it's unbelievable.

i have just Pro tools 10. I have it with a 1st generation ilok. I owned Pro tools 8. I bought pro tools 10. I did not get 11 with 10. I got 10 by itself.

I do not need or want pro tools 11 so i have not upgraded. I do not own a 2nd generation ilok 2.

read his post. I also have 10 with a free upgrade to 11. I chose not to upgrade and it works with a first generation ilok.
