Default hd i/o missing firmware

Has anyone experienced this issue? My digitest sees the hdx card and hdio, but it tells me that its missing the firmware, and the update option is shaded out in the digitest. has anyone ever updated their firmware on an avid hdio?

Default Re: hd i/o missing firmware

Hi,
did you succeed with your problem ?
I had the same. Avid didn't know either. but after research I found the solution.
you have to uninstall pro tools and digi link.
AND you need to download pro tools 12.4 version. you install this version with digilink.
and now you can update the frameware.
And you update your pro tools.
