Default MBox Internally Recording Question

I have Pro Tools 9 & an Mbox running on OS X. I would like to record from another application running on the same machine. Is it possible to route the audio generated from a second application, internally into Pro Tools?

I doubt you will stream directly into Pro Tools, but there are several programs that can record, so you can IMPORT into Pro Tools. Although, if you select to use the onboard audio(with PT9 or 10), that may work fine. Another option would be to route the onboard audio output to Mbox inputs(essentially what I do by calling up internet on a separate machine and feeding its audio to a pair of line inputs on my 003.

If it's a non audio app then check out Audio Hijack Pro, a killer piece of software for recording anything that passes through your soundcard.
