Default mbox 2 pro disaster

i have just recieved my protools mbox 2 pro 7.3.1 in the mail and im trying to get things rolling but... well first i am not recieving any signal from my mic (signal on the hardware but not in the software_i/o's are correct) im using a shure ksm27; second whenever i try to record it says the buffer has underflowered and it tells me to reduce my buffer speed, whiuch was at 512 (default). You should not be using 10.4.9. It has not been approved. But to fix that, download the combo update from the Apple web site. Then repair permissions and delete prefs.

Also, you'll need to install the cs2 update, which fixes the random 6085 errors.
