Default PT Tutorials

Hey guys,

I am brand new to Pro Tools but have been recording with another DAW for several years. I was wondering if there was any decent beginner tutorials that you could recommend to help me get up to speed?

I do have the manual and access to YouTube but it's fairly slow going. I'm sure atleast some people can relate when you are accustomed to using 1 DAW, swapping to another can seem pretty foreign.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

-Mike

You Tube is a good place to start for free stuff.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOvWLIG0dvo

Lynda.com is good for paid stuff
http://www.lynda.com/search?q=pro+tools&x=0&y=0

Edit: just saw that you already using YouTube...my bad.

Without a doubt, head over to grooove3.com and buy a month subscription and learn from the pros. Kenny Giola's videos are great. Well with 30 dollars

Thanks for the advice. I never heard of Lynda before but I have definately checked out Groove3 tutorials for other topics in the past, they are usually top notch.

Kenny's are great, as are Stigs and Multi-Platinum.com.

The cool-funky-hippie groove will stay with you for days..

(Hope I got the song right Stig)
