1080i 59.94 from Media composer, what set up in PT
Just recieved an AAF from symphony with the following specs: 1080i @ 59.94
Imported and mixed in PT @ 29.97 DF...when i lay back the mix in Symphony....it's out of sync. Any idea ??? Thanks If i understand correctly 59.97 (field per second) is the same as 29.97 (frame per second)...so i have no idea why this would not work! |

Should be 29.97 Non Drop Frame as far as I'm aware.

It could be either drop frame or non-drop frame, but yes, 29.97 fps in Pro Tools.

when things out of sync it's usually related to sample rate, whether you set you pro tools session to drop frame or not wouldn't make any difference to the audio
